Prof. Hu has published a number of papers in international journals such as MIS Quarterly, Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, IEEE and ACM Transactions.

Prof. Hu is currently an Associate Professor at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), with research focus on FinTech and Business Analytics. He was previously an Assistant Professor in Information System at University of Zurich. 

He obtained his BA from College of Computer Science of Zhejiang University, and his Phd from University of Arizona (Eller).
